We are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and extremely rare and and always rust free example of this highly desirable and fully loaded 1968 Chevrolet Impala SS396 Convertible with its date correct big block 396/325HP L35 V8 4 barrel (IV Code) engine matched to the Turbo-hydramatic TH400 automatic transmission and finished in it's original 'Island Teal Metallic' factory color paint (code F1) with a power 'White' convertible top (code 1) and with its original (factory 862 code) SS "Super Sport Bucket Seats" interior in original 'Teal' color trim and loaded with factory options of Astro-Ventilation system (AC Delco's trademark name) air conditioning, bucket seats with center console with full lengtharmrests and floor shifter, power steering, power disc brakes, courtesy and ashtray lamps, a Super Sport signature script, distinct side moldings, an electric clock, AM radio!
This particular example is an original SS trim car with a date correct 396 V8 L35 (IV Code) big block engine matched to the 3 speed Turbo-Hydramatic transmission, which was a significant improvement on the Powerglide transmission.
